[Youtube Channel] We’ve now opened a Youtube channel, which features tutorial videos on how to use Candy DE and Candy DC! Of course, we’ll also use it to provide tutorials on future assets as we release more. The PDF guides provided with our assets are more complete and a faster read, but these videos are helpful when you require a more visual methodology. We’ll make more videos on Candy DE/DC features as well (Player Choices are next).

[License Update] Updated the Candy Dialogue Engine Free Indie, Starter Indie, Pro Indie and Studio Licenses from version 1.0.1 to 1.0.2.
The terms were modified to better clarify the definition of Creators and the fact that employees are not considered such.
As a reminder, license updates apply automatically to all Works that have licenses 1.0.1 or lesser assigned (only sub-version changes require your approval). If you have justifiable reasons to feel that this update would be detrimental to your Works, you can contact us within 30 days of this announcement to decline the update. See the license terms for details.

[News] It has now been one week since we’ve released Candy Dialogue Engine and Candy Dialogue Creator!
It has been a very interesting experience. There were of course some bugs and errors, as can usually be expected from any software launch, and there were a few that we should have caught before release. The good news is, as we expected, these bugs were very easy to fix and the core code is solid.
After one week, we’re now starting to get our bearings (there’s a lot to manage between our site, Github, and the Godot asset library). We’re also close to releasing a special edition of Candy Dialogue Creator, ready-made for integration into your games, and we’re preparing tutorial videos that will show you how to setup and use Candy DE and Candy DC.
A big thanks to our users so far, we’re grateful for your interest and your patience with us. We might still find a number of issues next week, but we hope most will have been identified and fixed after that.

[License Update] Updated the Candy Dialogue Engine Free Indie, Starter Indie, Pro Indie and Studio Licenses from version 1.0.0 to 1.0.1.
The terms were changed so the licenses apply to Candy DE versions 1.0.x. The previous terms (mistakenly) applied only to Candy DE version 1.0.0.
As a reminder, license updates apply automatically to all Works that have licenses 1.0.0 assigned (only sub-version changes require your approval). If you have justifiable reasons to feel that this update would be detrimental to your Works, you can contact us within 30 days of this announcement to decline the update. See the license terms for details.
