Editing Lines
A Line is edited in the Dialogue Editor, as a form: each piece of data the Command takes is a field. Fields are described first, then the Commands whose form is more than a list of fields.
- Fields: help, dropdowns, values, and the buttons beside a field.
- Field Messages: the errors, warnings and notices beside a field's name.
- Spoken Lines: the tabs of the Spoken Line form.
- Variations: the versions of a Spoken Line's text.
- Translating: writing other languages.
- Random and TTS Variations: alternate texts, and text for text-to-speech.
- Lists and Entries: choices, timers, media players and other repeated parts.
- Conditions: If, Elif, Else, For and While, and the Command they run.
- Meta Data: references, notes and custom data on every Line.
- Presets: Lines inserted in one click.
