EditorMoving from Line to Line, tab to tab and Variation to Variation, and editing tags.
CommandsOne action per Command: adds a Line of that Command.
PresetsOne action per Preset: inserts it.
InsertsOne action per insert: types it.
The actions of the last three pages are generated from your data: a new Preset or insert receives an action automatically. None of them has a key until one is assigned. Changing a Key Each action has a row: its name, two key buttons, and Reset. An action can have two keys. 1. Click one of the action's key buttons. 2. Press the key, optionally with Ctrl, Shift or Alt. Every key is accepted as the shortcut, Escape and Enter included. 3. Press OK. Cancel leaves the key unchanged. No Key removes it. A key belongs to one action at most. When the key pressed already belongs to another action, the window names that action: pressing OK removes the key from it.

Where Shortcuts Work
GroupWhere
General, Windows & Layouts, Editor, Commands, Presets, InsertsIn every window. A text field being typed in retains the keys it uses itself: there, Ctrl+Z undoes the typing, and Ctrl+C copies text.
NavigatorWhile a Dialogue Navigator has the focus: click its list first. They act on its selection.
Edit TagsWhile an Advanced Speech Editor has the focus.
The Editor, Commands and Presets actions act on the Navigator clicked last and its Dialogue Editors. Because a text field retains its own keys, a shortcut made of a plain letter would type that letter while you write. Assign shortcuts a key with Ctrl or Alt, or a function key. Key Display
  • In menus, right of the item.
  • In the tooltip of the buttons that have a shortcut, such as Test.
