Settings
The Settings window contains the settings of the open project profile. Open it with Edit > Settings... (Ctrl+Comma). The pages are listed on the left, sorted in categories. The selected page is displayed on the right.

How Settings Are Saved There is no Apply or Cancel button. Changes are written to the profile when the Settings window closes, however it is closed. The language is the exception: it's saved as soon as it's chosen, for every profile (see Language). Changes to the theme are applied at once, so that their result is visible. Per-Panel Settings The Settings window contains what is shared by the whole profile. The settings of one Panel or one widget are in that Panel's or widget's Options: right-click it. They are part of the layout, and are saved with it. Tooltips Most settings have a tooltip: hover their name or their field.
