Variation Properties

The Variation Properties widget edits a Variation's properties other than its text. It follows the Variation picked in the Variation Selector that has the same reference.

Property	Description
Direction	The direction the text is written in: left to right, or right to left.
Weight	The Variation's chance of being picked when Variations are picked at random, relative to the others.
Custom Data	Free values for your own code (see Meta Data).

The text itself is edited in a Speech Editor.

Changing a property of a Variation the Line doesn't have yet creates the Variation. A new Variation starts with the direction of its language, as set in Settings > Dialogue > Languages & Tags. Choosing the Properties The widget works like a Fields widget. Right-click it and choose Fields... to choose which properties it displays, their order, their categories and the number of columns. With Every variation property ticked, it displays them all. Options Right-click the widget and choose Options.

Option	Description
Reference	The Variation Selector this widget follows.
CLEAR in drop-downs, RESET in drop-downs	The actions at the bottom of each field's dropdown (see Fields).
Minimum Size, Maximum Size	The minimum and maximum size of the widget's area.
